Dennis R. Taylor, 70, of Roanoke, died on Friday,
April 23, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Pauline
Taylor; and stepfather, Glenn Snead.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Taylor;
children, Mary Embleau and husband, Scott, and James R. Taylor and wife,
Pamela; sister, Glenna Webster; brothers, Dallas Taylor and Emmitt Clayton
Taylor; granddaughter, Caroline Embleau.
Services will be held at Shenandoah Baptist
Church on Monday, April 26, 2010, at noon with the Rev. Robert Alderman
officiating.
Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2010, from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel.
Dennis was a graduate of Gary High School ,
Class of 1957
