THORPE — Molly
Sue Lester Lambert, 71, of Thorpe passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009 in
Welch Community Hospital, Welch.Born February 15, 1938 in Iaeger she was
the daughter of the late Emmett and Kathleen Auvil Lester.
She was a 1956 graduate of Gary High School, and a former employee
of the Unemployment Office in Welch.She was a devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother and friend
.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
A. W. "Humpy" Lambert; a son, William Lester Lambert; a
sister, Karen A. Lester; and a grandson, Jason W. Underwood.Left to
cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Underwood and husband John of
Premier; two granddaughters, Amanda Barnes of Premier and Anna Underwood
of Premier; two great-granddaughters, Katelynn Jordon and Malayah Barnes
of Premier; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 12 p.m. in the chapel of
the Douglas Mortuary, Welch, with Pastor Randall Dority officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.Friends may
visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service
on Wednesday.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers
